European Frameless Kitchen Cabinets
The modern construction standard used in Europe for decades — now custom-built in our Illinois factory and delivered in 14–21 days.
What are European frameless cabinets?
European frameless cabinets (also called "full-access" or "full-overlay" cabinets) are built without the front face frame found on traditional American cabinetry. Instead of a wooden frame across the front of the cabinet box, frameless cabinets use a thicker, stronger box with doors and drawers that mount directly to the sides.
This construction method has been the standard in European kitchens for over 50 years. It's now the fastest-growing cabinet style in the United States — and for good reason.
Frameless vs. framed

Why the world's best kitchens are built without a face frame.
More Storage Space
Without a face frame blocking the opening, frameless cabinets give you approximately 15% more usable interior space. Pull-out shelves, lazy Susans, and organizer inserts fit more easily inside the box.
Sleek, Modern Aesthetic
Full-overlay doors create clean, uninterrupted lines across your kitchen. No visible frame between doors — just a minimal reveal that gives European kitchens their signature seamless appearance.
Stronger Box Construction
Frameless cabinets use 3/4" thick plywood panels on all sides for structural rigidity. At Marfa NuEra, we use furniture-grade plywood — never particle board or MDF — for the cabinet box.
Adjustable Concealed Hinges
European-style concealed hinges are fully adjustable in three directions. Your doors always align perfectly, even after years of use. Nothing interrupts the clean lines of your cabinet fronts.
Easier to Clean
No face frame means no dust-catching crevices between doors and frame. The flat, full-overlay surfaces are simple to wipe down and maintain.
Better Resale Value
European frameless cabinetry is the preferred style in luxury homes and modern remodels. It signals quality construction and contemporary design to buyers.
